I played a doom 2 mod for doom 3 just a bit ago. I used to play doom 2 all the time, but I have it along with the original doom on floppy disks... my computer doesn't have a floppy drive though, and I'm too lazy to put one in

I've got the doom collector's edition, but until my issues are resolved I'm not installing just to reinstall later....

WOOT! I still play doom2 and final doom. They were a blast upon release and are still a blast today. It always takes a few minutes though. Its hard to get use to not using a mouse to aim with. Abd when you use shift to run - the game moves like the raw edge of lightning. But there is a still a natural high when bringing down steam demons and spider minds. Oh man I love the old dooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
