i suck royally cant get the config as i use in q4 which was the only setup that worked for me and i played q3 once or twice

yea i love it but the servers suck lotta lag and s**t

Thanks anyway man Palmlix sent me an invite....just waiting for it to come though, I heard it takes anywhere from a few days to a month.

Can anyone confirm.... I hear mouse input is almost exactly the same as Doom 3...i.e. you can use the same sensitivity

any more screenshots? maps? I havent seen anything

I use a much higher sensitivity in quakelive than in doom3.

Not because it's slower, because it isn't. Vanilla Quake 3 is not noticably faster to me than Doom 3, perhaps because I was introduced to the advanced iD style movement in Doom3. Or because when I play Q3 it's usally the CPMA mod with CPM physics. THAT is much faster, but vQ3, which is what's used in major tourneys and QuakeLive is about the same speed. Certainly no slower.

You can play any time you want. I think I'm gonna go hop in now, as a matter of fact.

q3a vq3 is alot faster then doom 3. i feel like i have stone bricks on my feet when i jump from quake 3 arena to doom 3.
