It reminded me of an M Night Shamalan(sp?) movie with the ending it had. I agree the monsters looked fake.

Although jago, you're reason for disliking it is the worst reason I've read so far. Think about the time that passes from when they meet to when he dies. It's basically one full day. Not to mention he was still having nightmares about his wife and kid dying. That's just my 2 cents anyways.

haha. yeah I didn';t like it as much as I thought I would. I went and rented the original version that was out a long time ago, and I really liked the idea of the movie, even that one was well done. there are some problematic things in there which doesn't make any sense. like the whole porn thing, I mean he would have at least 1 at the house. lol. but instead he was renting news. ?? then again he was a doctor and was doing research. so who knows. but I did think at least a dry hump on the dummy in the vid store was in order. haha.

Altho maybe we can blame it on the woman, like if she didnt' 'have the notion of peeps being a live somewhere else maybe they woulda been like. hey we need to repopulate the earth. lol. who knows. again I do like the fact that Will acted his ass off. and he did from what I heard a huge amount of research to see how people act when they are in solitary confinement, or left alone for so long. was neat to see.

still a rental tho.

I read the book, front to back, which is a big accomplishment for me. I dont read. The most dissaponting thing i thought was the unnecacerry use of cg.

They did show the other chopper flying straight towards his familys' chopper...

It's called imagination of the obviousfrom that point on.

Back for sex scenes in the 50s, they showed the couple kissing in bed and the camera pans away. You're supposed to assume they end up f*****g.

I have read the book and let me tell you...if you seen the movie...read the book...the book is much better.

But you have to agree Will Smith played the part really well..

I liked AVP, but I'm one of the few... I had a few complaints about it, but I love both of the series... So yea.

Yeah I've seen how horrible the reviews are. Don't care, loved the last one and that got bad reviews too, hopefully it will be enjoyable.
