Dude... What you kids don't realize is the 80s were not good times. Some great music was made, but the only thing that was truly awesome about the 80s were the cartoons... Hehe.

No, the clubs and drugs are also bad... The 80s is about mullets and weird clothes. There was very little that was cool about the 80s. Most people just like it because they weren't alive in the 80s, so it's unique to them. Kinda like how my generation was all hyped up on the 70s.

Being able to express your self walking down the streets with ghetto blasters an music weird clothes cool hair styles awesome music clubs arcades cartoons fights styles it's very unique and I think it was awesome, I'm not sure where your from but if you didn't live it google 80's and you see tons of stuff

You know the economy was only good for about 6 years right?

The economy was good for 3 in the 90s also. We started the current recession we are in in 1996... So far this has been the longest recession we've had in a very long time, and the periods that are good are getting shorter. They are saying we might possibly have a depression soon.

Man o man o man. The bands, shows, concerts, tours of the 80's were out of control. Not that there aren't good bands with staying power out there now, but back then (before label manufactured bands) there was a surplus of actual talent, songwriting, and above all else, the actual ABILITY to be able to perform the songs live.
