The new DOOM SnapMap looks really cool. I am a little worried that the market will become oversaturated with mediocre content.
I hope they still have the radiant editor (or something similar) for the hardcore developers. I would definitely like to try my hand at mapmaking with this new tech.
Otherwise they basically blew me away with the E3 presentation. It was everything I hoped for. Hell Knights were a little small though :s Really want to see more multiplayer though.

A little better than I was expecting. The SP looks fun at least, just hoping there will be a lot more enemies on screen in future gameplay like the old doom games.

MP looked kind of meh to me. Looked way slower than D3, worried that there will not be any strafe jumping since you can double-jump, etc. We'll have to wait and see though.

Was hoping for more multiplayer too, but I was really hoping they stayed the course with keeping it as close to the feel as Doom as possible
without drifting and I really think they've achieved that.
It looks amazing, very excited to see what it has to offer for me, and this team !

Hope the MP turns out and the strafing is the same.

The no strafe jumping theory popped into my head right after the video as well. I'm pretty scared, though they claimed it was very similar to Quake multiplayer, so I'm hoping they at least have the sense enough to know that strafe jumping is a huge factor

I'm also concerned with map making, as well as the movement system. The game looks conceptually promising though.

I hope they don't go too quake live with it and still keep it doom though, for the over all feel of gameplay :p

I can't believe some of you are still around! I'm 20 now believe it or not! I can spell now as well! Amazing! :lol:

No strafe-jumping, looks very slow, generic, silly powerups. MP seems to just be an afterthought to go along with the SP.

Likely just going to purchase this once the price drops and play through the SP portion.

With this and battlefront looking significantly underwhelming, seems like I'm just waiting/hoping that Overwatch ends up being as great as its early gameplay looks.

Lets not jump to the conclusion just yet. Will see. There still busy on it.
Maybe because they are going to let a group of community play, they will give feedback and notice it.

The gamedesign looks nice, altho there is a lot of quake style in it as wel.
I think it will give an overal fun mp when its out.

I kinda like the revamped look, I wish there was strafing, and they cut out the stupid power ups...
I think the pace doom had is what made it unique, aside from not having 1 shotter cross map guns which they seem to be implementing like quake..
idk, hope the game turns out... Idk if it can live up to the multiplayer of Doom3.
