Most of the old ones all had Telemarines, and I tried to keep any others to a mininum, because too many fonts, gets, well, confusing, hehe. Some old stuff:

go to the blending options of the layer with the outerglow on it ;) * probably a text layer* then right click go to blending options go to outer glow if you look there there is a color pallete somewhere where u can select the color u want! You might have to change the outerglows blending option (default is screen) change it to normal or whatever fits right ;)

Depends on the effect I need, and I'm no PS expert. Simply adding an outerglow can be done through the options. Sometimes, I'll duplicate the original text layer, Gauss blur it up, maybe re duplicate it, then stack a sharp text on top, depends on how it shows up on the background. The stacking method seems to be more subtle.
