Finally remembered to run 3DMark06 and got 11927

ASUS P5E
Intel Q6600 2.4GHz
XFX 8800GT AlphaDog 1950MHz
8GB PC-6400 RAM

Vista-64 with SP1 RC1

No tweaks or O/C

Just ran the tests in XP-64 and got a score of 12282. Not much of a difference, and my Vista install was after a full install of my usual software and tools whereas the XP install is totally clean with just drivers.

Update: P8941 marks in the new vantage 3dmark. Not bad :wink:

Actually, it kind of does. I was expecting it to be around 7500. Soo.. I'd assume if you still have the 1gb of ram that's a factor, and the CPU is a bit of a bottleneck. That 8800 should have carried you higher though.

when i was at qc the guys that where sitting behind us where doin this test..and i asked then what mine should be i told them my specs and they where expecting 8-10k with just the 1gig

now i have 2gigs (and everything is the same)
i was erxpecting like 9k or so on this test and got nowhere close as u can see...


does any1 have any idea y i scored so low?

you're not going to get 8-10k with that CPU.

Yeah I took the CMOS battery off and waited like 30 mintues. Turned it on without the battery to clear it. Then power right up. and @ 4.25 mHz lol
