well, I got the evga 680i nf63 board, an e6600 2.4 core 2 duo, and 2 gigs of ddr2 800. It should be arriving today. :D

same one I've got now, 7950 gt ko

Still greatly outperforming the 8600, so I'm not too concerned about the rest. I've got bills to pay and a child to feed lol. can't spend ALL my paycheck on a new rig =p

Damn i gota get a job, Ive got $430 waiting for a new mobo ram and cpu. How mutch u pay for all that stuff?

Im torn between getting an e6420 or e6600.
And i dont know if i want 2x 1gb ddr2 800 or 1x 2gb ddr2 800 so i can upgrade to 4gb duel channel later.

Help the nooblet here!

4gb of memory is NOT needed. i'd go with e6600 best reviews on it by far on newegg. :)

I suppose, ill go with the A-data overclockers RAM should work.
