ROTFL, sounds like people were like WTF BUY BUY BUY, then they caught it, hehe. I don't know if that's a good deal or not. Pretty pricey, and CURRENTLY the latencies are SOOOOO HIGH with the DDR3, that they basically overpower most if not all of the frequency gains, CURRENTLY. MaxPC (one of my trusted sources) agrees, that basically, pffffft. Now, with that said, the NEXT NVidia chipset is right around the corner, and yes, it will do DDR3. Now, from what I'm seeing and hearing DDR3 WILL (like Vista WILL be fixed) become the dominant player, but only deep to later this year. With the prices sky high, even IF/WHEN they drop the price, and crank up the freq. it will be some time before the demand ramps up, production then you get the good price/performance point.
