Having the name of a pro on all of your components, hardware, and body doesn't make you any better in game, especially if you don't show up for your tourney matchsuki wrote:FANBOY!!eXg. Frag///aster wrote:Fatal1ty products RUle!

Anyone heard anything about them?eXg. f0cus wrote:Yeah, most of my games take advantage of 5.1eXg. Snowy wrote:I have the Turtle Beach HPA2 5.1 surround sound headphones. They're really nice if your games take advantage of 5.1.
I'm gonna try these out. I really wish there were a local retailer, in case they don't work with some part of my system, but ah well. Shipping isn't too bad.
How well does the surround work in ET:QW/ Q4??

I played a quick racing game with those at the Tritton booth at Quakecon. I couldn't really tell the 5.1 surround sound (there was background noise etc... and it was a really quick game), but they sounded really nice.

For the record, the Fatal1ty headset is the highest rated headset on Newegg right now, beating the Sennheisers, Plantronics, and everyone.eXg. Frag///aster wrote:Fatal1ty products RUle!
Iwill whoop you with his headset.
The thing is though, the Icemat (steelseries) are all sold out. So that may affect the standings.

Turtle Beach actually has both.eXg. f0cus wrote:Well I wound up not going with those Turtle Beach sets because they were USB, and I have X-fi soundcard.
So I'm actually still on the lookout.

Turtle Beach does have both the USB version and the "regular" version of the headset. I have the "regular" which would be perfect for your soundcard.eXg. f0cus wrote:Well I wound up not going with those Turtle Beach sets because they were USB, and I have X-fi soundcard.

pwned... thanks Focus for the pimpage.
God i bet you dream about him 24/7. I personally think nobody wants a headset with someone name of it. if it was me i'd rather go with a big time company and not creative

I don't think there is anything wrong with getting fatal1ty headset. I seen it in Frys yesterday for like 49.99 pretty cheap. Probably works just as good as frag says. Otherwise go with Icemat, that's what i have
