I'm not an expert on Sound Cards, and I don't pretend to be.
I'm gonna say the corny "Looks good to me" because they all do
hehe
I have an Auzentech Explosion, i bought it so that I could hook it up to my Bose speakers in the living room when I plug this in to the TV.
Really when it comes down to soundcards, thats the one part that really is just all about what you want to do with it. Like graphics cards, the more money you put into it, the more things you will be able to do.
Soundcards are different, its totally based off of your situation in your home, and personal preference.
I say "GET IT" Sab, for two reasons:
1. Omega Striker is a cool name
2. Because according to reviews it puts out a great quality sound.

Looks good to me sab, they are using all solid state caps etc. And a C-Media chipset, they have been around for a while.
How much more expensive are the X-FI cards with the front panel connectors.
I gots mine for free when they came out but I'm sure they are less than 300 dollars now
Edit: upon closer inspection I found a Creative one for the same price but you lose the solid state caps.

i like my razer barracuda. i have the sound card and matching headset. they both are quite awesome. it does optical in/out, and i believe can decode 7.1, though the headset is only 5.1. the sound quality on the headset is quite stellar actually. i have definitely found it to be advantageous while playing games like cod4 and left 4 dead because i can accurately place where sounds are coming from. admittedly the price is kinda steep, but you can find them on ebay (or at least you used to be able to) for about $200 (about $100 off the retail price).
better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and erase all doubt.
