I need a new motherboard, but that also involves me getting ram and a cpu. What do you guys suggest...?I will go amd or intel not a big ordeal with me.

I want a dual core though. im sick if single cores. Here is what i have for my idea's...:

Yea they did. Now its just a matter of me with my patience.. sence i wanna move out asap.. i gota get this rig set up and redone before i goto my fiance's house. sence i have no internet over there.. (not for long though ima get a substitute source for myself but for now its goin to be no net)


but i definatly want the faster computer...

so yea, i might w8 till after the 26th to get my new pc. =P

I just found a problem, i have a 450watt psu, i dont think that is goin to work for the intel set up.

Could some one help me out with this.. i need a good, cheap psu.. no need for anything higher then 650.. (at least i think that i dont.)

I need a Processor thats just as good as this but cheaper and not as big.. (Dads throwing a fit cuz im not goin to utilize all the processor... so meh..)

And ofcourse im goin to need a mobo and ram change if needed..

That processor is perfect for you man. It's not an extreme, so your not paying for jet fuel in your computer, but at the same time its no pentium 4, so your not going back to the dark ages.

If you choose to get a weaker processor (which i hope you dont ) then I would go with the core 2 quad's. 6660 is what i use, great processor.

Tell Pappa Pheonix that that corei7 is like the best cpu on the market. tell him that for the price, your getting so much more bang for your buck than any other cpu ever.
if you NEED to go weaker, q6660. or if you need to go amd, get the damn phenom (stole my name...the bastads)
