Seems like Sony has their hands full with the Wii and XBox... I would hate to be a Sony shareholder right now...

Same thing happened when nVidia made the gpu for the original xbox. MS switched to ATI for the 360.
I'm getting one, because it won't be that much more expensive than other Blu-Ray dvd players, and I might as well make the most of my HD home theater. (The inclusion of a builtin hdmi connection was a big plus to me)
