in my MIS class we had to each do a presentation on a new break through technology, and i did it on the Wii. after the presentation, i want the thing even more, even though i havn't actually bought a console system for YEARS (my bro usually bought them but i never played them).

dunno how i could pass up $250

Was that Onimusha I saw being played!!! I gotta pick one of these up.. it may not rank up par with some of the technologies that 360 and ps3 offer but the replay value of the games seems immense. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing the vids

i just hope the Wii's controller is as accurate as the 360's when you swing in golf, baseball, and tennis games; and i hope Wii's nunchuk controller is as good as ps3 when you use it as a shield and sword, or for fps games. hopefully the on-screen pointer is as efficient as the 360. yeah, i really hope the Wii can make decent games because it's so far behind the other consoles in technology

far behind in technology? sorry but the 360s controller is retarded, lets make the same exact thing as xbox and say we are advance! 360 is an enhanced grapic'd xbox. its stupid, wii has a cool looking controller, and the games / graphics look amazing compared to the recent nintendos and i would say the wii is better than 360 because it brings back old school games, new version old school (super smash bros. brawl, the legend of zelda twilight princess, super mario galaxy, and there is said to be a new donkey kong!) the 360 IMO is a waste of money, full of bugs, and its a complete remake of an overrated console (xbox)

Its kinda sad how Nintendo had the killer motion controller idea, PS3 has now stolen that, the virtual console to access old games, and Xbox has sort of taken that with their Xbox Arcade.

Although PS3's controller still isnt impressive and neither is Xbox Arcade its just proof of how great Nintendo's ideas are.

Aside from tons of virtual console games on Wii I'm pretty pumped for these:

-Twilight Princess (Duh)
-Red Steel, looks amazing and hopefully the first person sword play will work well
-Super Smash Bro.....okay pretty much any game with Mario in it, or any other Nintendo character will be worth looking into.
-Rayman, looks pretty neat, Ubisoft has really taken a liking to the Wii, with at least 10 titles announced already, one being Red Steel. Although Blazing Angels was a pretty bad game due to its controls and blotchy graphics I hope the Wii one will be good with the whole interactive flying.
-Call of Duty 3 and Medal of Honor Airborne with the interactive controls.

- Wii Sports
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
- Red Steel
- Mortal Kombat: Armageddon
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I doubt I'll get all of those, but I'd like to try most of them out.
