Ugh...Someone who has it can you tell me if it will be worth trying or if it will even run on my rig. my spec are here:

Try the demo out, that should give you some idea.

LoL! yeah it will run! It won't get cranked up to the max, but that goes for everybody. And I mean EVERYBODY.

As in, It doesn't use quad cores and it doesn't use SLI (yet)

So anyway, you shouldn't have too much trouble running it. You're safely into the minimum requirements.
