that has been rumored ever since the game was announced. however at gdc08 it has been confirmed that cryengine2 will be coming to the ps3 and 360. here it is suggested that crytek won't do the work themselves but would rather outsource it.
better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and erase all doubt.
