lolz, nah ill stick with newegg, i decided on HOURS OF benchmark and forum reviews, that the x800GTO is want i want. the extrea 512 on the XFX would be awsome, but im not to into it woth the memory clock speed being so low and the GDDR2.
im looking to have it arive around monday

For teh time being i riged up a ANCIENT matrox graphics millenium II PCI card. I can play star craft, half-life, and DOOM, and that's about it
(I'm refering to the originals)

i do have a 9600 pro at another computer so you might see me in the server Ocasioanlly.

I think im going to apply a zalman heatsink to my new GPU and get a PCI case cooler.

Yeah, ati's can run pretty hot. But usually that is not a problem because for some reason they can take the heat better then nvidia's.

lolz, changed my mind again
im getting the 7600GS.
the X800GTO doesnt support HDR in games like oblivion.
plus in some benchmarks i came across the 7600outproforms the x800GTO and its only 256 in taht test.
The cards are so close i dobt i will notice a difference...
but i want HDR.

Plus, Nvidia pwns games that are based on the doom engine compared to the ati cards..
