monitor?
i am thinkin about buildin a new pc, and have everything set excpet for a monitor. any1 have any siggestions? i am lookin for something anywhere from $100-300

I really still like CRT's. I think LCD's can vary wildly, in their refreshing. I've seen numbers games played, ie, not on/off (refresh rate), but more of a "grey to grey". My suggestion is to read the reviews on NewEgg.com. Pretty much any CRT will work, flatscreens the best. LCD's can be had for cheap, BUT, watch out, most times they will refresh so slow, and the banding will be soo bad, you'll shoot yourself. Playing it safe, and keeping a lower budget, 19's aren't as noticible when ghosting, 20, 21, 22+, it becomes painfully obvious.
