had a nasty virus animaldocter malware now with a tool and malwarebytes
i removed that threat but now my connection seems to be abused to send out spam mail i get constant pop ups that my scanner blocks them
but nonetheless my connection is so slow from it it takes 5min to open a wegpage
i wanted to install symantec endpoint but due to my old virus
symndus.sys seems to be erased i tryed to copy the file from another computer but it wont allow my to copy it in my system32/drivers directory
i tryed a string of cacls comms to allow writing there but to no avail
i tryed to use my old scanner which is outdated and registered with a now removed email acc as i never used it and it find virusses but with actions to take as in remove move to safe etc it gives errors that tis not done
im not sure where to go from now i really dont want to format but am afraid theres no choice but i cant find my xp cd anymore so that gonne cost me alot
also not sure if moving some stuff to my E: partition is safe
its been ages since i did anything driver related or anything for that matter
i searchd the web for related errors but bo solution from them worked
if anyone has any suggestions please post them i haave to turn off my scanne to be able to post this ....
help.
