Pun, this will make you a happy man. I got a new hard drive a western digital raptor runs like a charm, and by luck the same day my old hard drive started shitin its pants lol.

If by some chance, you actually DID finally get a new hard drive, and SOMEHOW managed to stretch that last one clearly past it's prime, WITHOUT dying, it's about time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even with all da supa speedy SSDs lurking out there, I still have a total of 3 raptors running, and just can't seem to kick their speedy asses to the curb.
