Strange question.. Need some one that know's networkingish

kk my family is hurting for money badly mom's on a 6 week leave from having a kid, dad's not making much money we just started a new Vinal sign business.. moneys get droped out into things like crazy and we are low on money for bills..

To the Point:
our dish is charging 10$ extra cuz we dont have a phone line hooked up to the 2 recivers.. we where told that we can hook up an ethernet cable to it instead.

Me and my dad where woundering if we could use our computers as a hub.
ive got 4 gigalan. 3 left.. would it be possable for me to put one of them as an output or something.. to make my pc a hub basicly? or a router..?

Let me know please.
can use that extra 10$ on other bills that we are behind on =\ tis a necessity.
