Help processor upgrade problem.

Hello, I recently upgraded to an intel pentium D 3Ghz/4mb/800 from a celeron e1400. After installing it the pc will power on but the monitor does not get a signal. My motherboard is an MS-7502. 400w power supply and gt220 graphics card. I am pretty sure I have not damaged the new processor. If anyone can offer some help I would be grateful.

Is it possible it could be a power issue?

Hmmm, lots of questions. Do you have another monitor to try ? Can you power down, unseat, then reseat your graffix card ? Did you forget to reconnect any/all AUX power connections to motherboard, and card (if it has one) ?? Do you get any error beeps upon booting (BIOS error codes) ??
