eXg. f0cus Bio
My name is Tommy. I work in tech support for a nation wide ISP that serves rural areas generally overlooked by the larger corporations. I specialize in DSL support, but also handle Web Solutions calls, as well as a new experiment we're doing with IPTV.
I've only been playing multiplayer DM games since Doom3, winter of 2005.
I started with Doom3, but discovered Quake 4 videos when using a search engine looking for videos. I was a newb, so I had no idea where to look at the time.
I stumbled across a commentated video of Clamp-ok vs Raistlin, and really thought that the different play style was something I'd enjoy, and was playing more Quake 4 than Doom 3 by my 6th month playing or so.
I joined CD\ clan on invitation of cd\JijiJITteRy, cd\wog, and cd\SC 937-0176 CEC
I played casually, but only because I only knew of casual play. I had no idea just how high the skill ceiling went until I played 'itsokay', and he is the person that introduced "strafe jumping" to me. I'd assumed that the people that were running faster simply had much better computers, because I was only getting 30fps tops on my old roommates laptop. I have since learned many a CFG hax and have gone back to that old HP pavilion laptop and Logitech MX300 and squeezed a somewhat steady 60fps out of it. It's got a Radeon 9600 mobility, if you were wondering.
I've enjoyed my time here at eXg. and hope to keep the legacy going well into the future.

Warsow
Enemy Territory:Quake Wars

lol, yeah man, they always play a good live show. i met Adam Jones in Jackson Square the night before the show. Nobody believed me though. Everytime someone else came to join the entourage I'd tell them that I'd just met Adam JOnes and then all the other people that were there were all like "he didn't REALLY meet Adam Jones, to which I'd (very very not sober in anyway) reply "YES I DID!"
Nobody believed me it was him until the next night after the concert! then, they were all like "DUDE! We met ADAM JONES last night!", and I was all like, "!!!!!!!!!..................."
