In this case they are adding balance and improvements, not attempting to fix a broken game

dont kid yourself. i have yet to have any problems with etqw and it is 10x more fun than q4

I'm with you guys on this. Except for a few "server" issues, and one "install" issue, it's been crash/trouble free. The quake patches were terrible because they kept changing things, making the admins pull their hair out, etc.

I'll keep you 1.2 posted Will. Trust me, if it sucks, you'll see it here first.

Patches are usually a good thing anyway....

Unless you're EA and just screw up your games like bf2.
