UT3 tips and tricks

Hi everyone, and welcome!

I created this section so that all the information collected on UT3 can be kept in one area. As the subject line suggests, this section is for any gameplay tips, tricks and tactics that any of you have come across. Examples include item respawn times, general gameplay tactics, advanced strategies for particular maps, trick jumps, and so on! Please feel free to discuss anything of that nature.

I'm gonna get the ball rolling with a great video I found that has a lot of trick jumps and the like. It takes place on the map DM-ShangriLa, but a lot of the moves can be used on other maps as well. Some of you may have already seen a trick video that came out recently, this is NOT that video. Although this is done by the same person, the last video was done using godmode, and as a result many of the tricks were not practical to be used online, this video features cheat-code free tricks! Enjoy!

The downloaded version has about 15 additional seconds of footage in it because the video was too large to upload entirely to Youtube.

If some of you are curious as to how to perform some of the jumps in the video that don't use the impact hammer, most of them are done by simply double jumping (hitting jump twice) while hugging a wall, then immediately dodging (hitting a direction twice) off that wall in the opposite direction. Don't forget that UT3 has quite a bit of air control as well.

That YouTube video is new to me, thanks for posting. Lots of good tricks in there.
