bit doom 3 Question

Post by eXg. sabooya »

This doesn't really have much to do with EMZ, but I figured Sim might be able to help me. I have been trying to get doom to run at my native resolution, 1440x900, Is there any work around?

I found these:

What color depth is your desktop running at? I've had problems trying to run windowed without the desktop being 32-bit.

32bit color depth, also IT DOES WORK, if i run it in a window, its the full screen part that resets it all.

Weird. You have it like this...?

r_customWidth 1440
r_customHeight 900
r_mode "-1"

If they're ok it sounds like drivers. I've never had any problem using 1440x900 myself; was always fine on my 6600GT.

Now I run 1680x1050 fine on 8800GT.

ATI or nVidia? nVidia have always had better OpenGL support.
