Finally got round to updating the game stats on the EMZ site.

You can now select to view rankings per map.

Each map has its own rank and ELO rating for the players that have played on it.

For example, clicking on the link below will show you the best ranking players for d3dm4 (edge 2)

all I know is those stats must be old. haha. I should be at the top. hehe. how does this all work there sim. I will be doing some reading up on this.

Stats are pretty much up to date for the servers I run.

http://www.the-emz.com/results/elo/ explains the ELO calculation. It is a standard formula for tracking 1v1 match results over a sequence of games. Primarily used in chess but some gaming leagues use it too.

Basically, if you beat someone ranked higher than you then you gain some points, if you lose to someone lower you lose points.

You should try to get more recent matches from the eXg chi server as well as Evolution's EMZ server (and any other popular EMZ servers) - that would be awesome

I must say though, that this is a very cool tool. I seem to be pretty good on Edge 2!

If you know who the admins of those servers are, let them know. All they need to do is send me all the "results*.emz" files from their server's EMZ folder.
