Doom 4?

Wikipedia wrote:Doom 4 is the upcoming installment of the Doom series by id Software. It was announced by John Carmack at QuakeCon on August 3, 2007.[1] In the interview mentioned above, Carmack stated that there will be a Doom 4, but that it is not currently in development. He also stated that there are other projects that are taking priority before this new Doom title.

Any have any other information on this?

I don't remember hearing anyone at Quakecon talk about his speech about Doom 4, but I didn't make the speech, so I don't know for sure if he talked about it or not.

Ah, be careful with wiki, bout the most inacurate website out there for something. But yeah, I heard Carmack mention doom 4 in other interviews. Probably won't be around for at least a decade lol.
