Doom 3 server UPDATED to 1.31, and 1.31a

OK, thanks to Sim, helping me fix or undo what AOWC did to the server, it is now up, running at 1.31, with EMZ 1.31a. Patch your games, PURGE your existing EMZ files from your EMZ folder, join the server and autoDL everything you need.

Yea, i just downloaded Sabs and Manos map and tried gettin into the eXg server and it said "pure server .no downloads offered"

Updated first post. Server is running, autoDL is good, server is at 1.31, and 1.31a.

And just as a happy coincidence, I notice that D3 1.3.1 is actually listed as the latest release on http://www.idsoftware.com (scroll down to the D3 section on the list of games on the right). Tell AOWC to stick that in their pipe and smoke it

Simon, at least you've seen first hand what THEY call "Patching a Server". I mean is this stuff rocket science ?? I gave them a bonified solid patch, and still. Thanks again for your help, and any/all help that might be needed as we transition.

Yes purge = delete. I just wanted to make sure you guys didn't have MIXED versions of EMZ in the folder. If you have a DUAL install, or seperate versions like I do, then you just run the patch on whichever D3 you want to 1.31, or if you only have or want ONE D3, then just patch, what you got. There will probably be carry over EMZ files left in your EMZ folder, so deleting them allows you to JUST get the new ones. No conflicts, etc.
