New maps for Doom 3 server(s)
Ruiner, check your PM's.
OK fellas, this includes players, map designers, and everyone else inbetween. Ruiner is going to be working on uploading some old, new, and very new maps to our D3 server, and we may be getting a second one to share the load. We do have a current list of a few must have's, but if you have a map, that you think needs to go up, then post it up, link us, and the best will go into the rotation.

I have a request to anyone that has a D3 server. View bobbing, like q4, is server side. It's just the animation you see when you walk or crouch and walk or run. (The screen bobs up and down or back and forth). You can turn it off simply by setting them to "0". Here are the commands:

get rid of rustbucket, that maps so gay. all the other maps on the server ATM should stay on also.
and if it is possible, get a map rotation in there as well, so people don't keep the server on phrantic 2 all the time, get it rotating every map on the server to spread out stuff.

That is 5x48=240 bytes. The max size of download info that a server can return to a client is 1024 bytes (approx four times the example above).
If the client only has one map missing; no probs. But if they have to be sent the entire list and that list exceeds 1024 bytes then they either get "server does not provide download" or even a crash.
Sim
