Today everyone on all sides of the border are getting ready for the massive Hurricane Earl.
Its either stocking up on food or taking out the boat, everyone one along the Atlantic coast knows this is going to be a ruff ride. NASA has confirmed that Hurricane Earl has depleted to a Category 2 storm but its massive eye wall still remains at 100 km across and is planed to move far inland. On top of hurricane Earl coming in, thunderstorms are forming behind New Brunswick and are expect to collide with Earl and produceTornado's and even heaver winds then expected.
September 3, 2010 The Canadian Hurricane Center has issued a Hurricane Watch for Queens County, Shelburne County, Yarmouth County and Digby County in Nova Scotia. Then on Friday morning, the watch extended to metro Halifax, Halifax County West and east of Porters Lake and Lunenburg County.
Chris Scott is a meteorologist at The Weather Network. He has been monitoring Hurricane Earl closely, and believes that this storm will have an impact on Atlantic Canada.
It is likely we have a Cat 1 hurricane on Saturday morning (possibility of a Cat 2 on the high side, strong tropical storm on the low side). So, we have to be ready for hurricane force winds. Rain will be heavy, but the main concern is still the potential for damaging wind (and the possibility of some storm surge) primarily to the right of the track.
Good luck to all on the atlantic coast including me!
In a seemingly (never done before) new approach GmBH has actually started asking the players what THEY want to see in the future of OGame. Generally speaking this have never happened before as features/changes would be implemented angering some, and satisfying others, with no feedback from the community. I STRONGLY recommend taking this survey, and helping change the game for the BETTER, and for the PLAYERS.
