• Q4EU goes public

eXg. Q4EU team(hehe both of us ) are proud to announce the opening of the new public server

its running on the 1.4.1beta (or beta 2)patch and is a Q4 max 0.78b server with all the usuall whistles and bells that go with this very cool mod.
Server at the moment is completely votable so feel free to get on and play the game of your choice.

Ill be intrested to see what people are getting ping wise arround the world so if you can post em up here i,d be gratefull,,,,,GL&HF

also any opinions or configs with a view to improving the server would be helpfull

Special BIG UP from the team(again hehe both of us) to Wicked for his help and patience with this project so far

Heh, well... It at first told me that I needed to download a file or two at 2.39mb, and so I clicked yes and it said the download was either cancelled or failed.
So... I went and used the whole Windows cmd line ping test, and coming from Western USA, I pinged 180 average... My connection at this temporary house is s**t, though.

No more worries:
I did some changes to the server and here they are:

--Added more advanced server.cfg
--Changed si_mode to Duel
--Added referee
--Added AutoDownload (tested and working)
--Added temporary mapcycle following:
Placebo-Galang-Monsoon-Phrantic-Torment-Probliptourney-Ravage

*EDIT* requested update to 1.4.2 let's hope tomorrow it will be done.

well i have to pop on that sevrer a fair bit see you in game peeps

and good game the othyer day suntzu enjoyed it ^^
