I find it concerning that you DON'T find it concerning that you're the only Western country in the world to not have universal healthcare.

I find it humorous that you're concerned about deficit when you have 1.5 trillion already? Why even bother worrying about this anymore. One thousand five hundred billion dollars and you're worried about a few more billion? That's like 0.5% for the potential benefit of everyone in the nation that can't afford healthcare at the moment.

I'm indifferent to your politics, and honestly don't understand why everyone is so polarized in your country about left vs. right. The democrats and the republicans in the US are virtually identical in almost every single way. Would you have voted for a different Democrat? Probably not.

Also, I truly don't think you can compare the things that the Bush administration did to the things the Obama administration has. You also may want to look at the number of appointments and bills that have been completely put on hold with this new administration due to political games in your Senate.

As I said, I follow your politicals with an indifference to either of your parties (since they're essentially the same), but these issues are not as simple as what you make them out to be.

Watching the reaction to the US people's opposition to healthcare has been really really shocking though. I think just about anyone in any country that does have universal healthcare is having the same reaction as well.

Although I do not agree, I'm glad to have differing opinions. GJ Jago.
