That day will be in our hearts forever. I went to New York in the Spring of '09, and saw ground zero. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my life. A football field size area in the middle of the financial district, leveled, with a single crane, holding up a single American flag. I cried.
Those two towers were symbols for international peace, international business, and international relationships. After 9/11, they become less an international icon, and more of an American symbol. If there is anything in our lives we can be proud of, we can be proud to be Americans.
Even to the Canadian guys, I know you have a separate country, separate flag, but when it comes down to it, you guys were hurt just as much by this tragedy as we were, and because of that, our countries share a bond that I don't think we do with any other country.

September 11th makes me thankful for the things I have, and the people I love, more than I think Thanksgiving ever could. I love you guys. I wouldn't trade eXg for the world. All those people that died that day, I love all those people. All those firefighters, those policeman, the innocent spectators, I love all of them.

Thanks for posting this Missy, I love you too :)

Yes this is all very true.
I love you eXg guys to and i've always been thankful for what i have becauyse that is the kind of person i am. i can remember exactly where i was that day, what happend. i remember getting checked out of school and sitting in the car and my dad saying "something happend in new york" and my first reaction was "is mikey ok" no answer. i get home and the news is on and i see what happend and i did not know what to say, even being relitivaly young i knew that something happend. something terrible.
ill never forget when my dad told me about his life long friend and the peson that was like a older brother/unlcle figure to me. Saddest thing that has ever and probably will ever happen in my life
