Well, the name change thing actually has a bit of a story to go with it. I started using Mattinator when I was like 8 after I watched the movie Terminator. By the time I joined exg, I thought it sounded really dumb and that it was time for a name change. I had just finished playing the hell out of ut2k4 since it's release and decided to base my name off of my favorite sounding thing in the game, "Holy s**t!", which occurs when you get 30 frags in a row without dieing. Shortly after I started to play a Competitive Online Role-Playing Game (COORPG), Guild Wars, and it was becoming difficult to stay competitive when I was being temp banned from the game every few days. At the time I was also playing another rpg, Diablo 2, and my favorite item in the game was called enigma, so I played off that for a while. I was planning on sticking with that for good, but I kept being hassled by people in a ton of different games, on forums, over xfire saying that I stole their name. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle anymore and I changed my name to belial666 after doing a school project on Robert Browning. One poem that I had to study from him had to do with Belial and the whole thing sounded pretty leet so I decided to go with the name. Unfortunately, there were some people in my guild that were starting to believe that I was a satanist or some crap, even after explaining it to them, but they continued to take offence from the name. I hadn't used the name for long so I decided that it wasn't worth it to keep it and needed another name. I spent a whole day trying to decide on a new one, but couldn't really find anything that fit me. It was then Pun who gave me a quick e-smack to the head in a post saying that I should go with my original name, Mattinator. Despite the stupidity of the name, I still liked it and decided I would go with it. So here I am using it again today, lol, and hopefully for a very loooong time to come!
