I see what you're saying now, around the curves of the S's it's a little rough. Didnt' notice that at first glance.
And for the secondary topic of this thread, I tried out 1280X768 (or whatever it was we were takling about). I dont' care for it, it looks to me like I have my fov set too high. That's the best way i can explain it... it looks stretched or something. The size doesn't bother me, but the general appearance just seems off.
