CS:S Squad Questions

So I have been getting a lot of questions as of late and I'm just gonna answer them here.


When will you be picking people for the Squad\Team?

When I'm ready. Not a moment before. This is not something I want to rush, and fortunately for me time is on my side.

Well I know I'm getting on the squad, who eles are you going to pick? I found a few guys in some pub that I want on the Squad\Team as well. So all we need is like one more...

If you are one of these people and you feel confident your getting a spot....your probably not.

I don't care who you are, how well you know me or some one else in the clan, how much $$ you have donated, how many posts you have made in the fourms, how much time you spend on vent, or how long you have been in the clan. Don't like that? Sucks for you.

You can't have a CS:S squad without me! I'll quit\Stop playing with eXg if you don't pick me!

For every one person who thinks they can demand a spot, theres a thousand more who would love earn the chance to play with a team that will be as well structured and run as this one.


You haven't been posting much in the CS:S forum about strats and such, why not?

Just because there not posted doesn't mean there not typed out in word doc's and siting on my desktop waiting to see the light of day. Trust me when I say that when I feel it's time for them to be posted, you will have LOTS to read.

Do I really have to use Xfire,Vent, and IRC ?

Maybe so. What we are going to be doing over the next few months is going to be a lot different for us here at eXg. We are entering a whole new realm of gaming and organized competition. Public image and respect for our fellow gamers is of high priority. You don't like it? No one is forcing you to be here. But once all these rules have become a second nature for you, your going to realize there not that bad....and your missing out on a lot of fun.


Your going to be keeping attendance? WTH! Is this high school or something?

You make bad grammatical errors. You always make stupid jokes about the most random things. I swear that if I have to hear about your sleep deprived state again I'm gonna scream! And FFS, what is with all the bad WoW/Sad Panda/Racoon/PooN/Caffeine/Movie puns! Are you f*****g retarted?

People are starting to get impatient. Thats fine, I'm not here to entertain you. Your here to tryout for a team. We have a lot of people applying for just a few spots. Lots of you are going to get turned down.
So whats the rush? The more time we spend playing together, the better your chances.


Patience is a virtue. Take a number, wait your turn. And most of all..... Relax.

in terms of time, i think det knows exactly where we are as a team, and how NOT ready we are for serious competition. don't rush.

Well CRAP. I was all set to put up my ultimatum, "I'm playing or leaving", hehe. Beat me to it. Damn. Another fine plan goes up in smoke. Kidding aside, good post, and I am aligned with your thinking on that. I would like to find out from you, what times that the NON squad members can come in for some fun/training, etc. Would like to come and see how things are progressing with the squad.
