Wow, AdventureBOY, it's a good thing you quit c: when you did. Or else we'd have to kick you out for smartass comments like these. WTF man?

Advice was asked for, and was given. I haven't seen anything more inflammatory than "how big is your head"

Which, judging by your posts, is PLENTY.

P.S., I use these, they're not bad. Good highs and lows and a responsive mic. Durable too, as these have been knocked off my computer desk god knows how many times.
By the way, I've heard mixed reviews on USB headsets, so I opted for the headphone/mic connector headphones. I've never used a USB headset myself though, so I'm not speaking from experience on that issue.

:? Ever since that little "argument" we had on the c: forums, you haven't been yourself. Either cool it or don't post.

As I said in my first post, I like mine because they have good sound across the spectrum, and they don't distort as you crank up the volume... I don't think anyone should have to do that though.

Adventure man. I'm going to again recommend the 5H's. Yes they LOOK, big/heavy, but they're not. Very comfortable, and haven't had any fatigue whatsoever. Now that takes care of my "help" post responsibillities here, now I have to handle the "other" part.

It's cool that you're coming here, posting, asking, etc., as that's what these boards are here for. What crosses that line is when comments are made, like you did against a member. We are "community" focused here, but obviously respect has to be shown for our members, who have worked very hard to get where they are, and support the clan. I appreciate your help in this matter.

Well more often then not your sound is more impacted by your sound card then your headphones. For the longest time i had integrated sound and i have a cheap 20 logitech gamers headset. I eventually upgraded to an Audigy 2 5.1 sound card. With the EAX and awesome features of my sound card my 2.0 headset can sound like surround sound by having behind sounds lower volume, and front sounds higher. It is amazing. If you dont allready have a decent sound card, get one then pick up a moderate headset. It will be worth it.

Can you put a link to these 'phones? I have a pair of Altec's, but they're very uncomfortable. :(

I"m glad I got mine when i did. I picked these up around a year ago, and got them at best buy for $100. Apparently they're very popular to have gone up fifty bucks since then.

This is more for Contro, as he was asking about comfort. I wear these pretty much whenever I'm sitting at the pc, which can go upwards of around 4 - 5 hours at a time and have to trouble with comfort whatsoever.

Price is a big deterrent on these though.

LOL

I'm already using those... and no, they are not comfortable. My ears stick out because I've worn hearing aids for so long, and the pressure makes them ache.

Oh, I gotcha. I was thinking your discomfort was coming from more like the cups of the earphones being too round and not oval enough. :(
