Good luck killer! Make sure you keep on fighting man
One of my best friends had a similar experience just over a year ago over the Christmas break when she found out that she had type 1 diabetes as well. She's had to make some pretty drastic changes to her life as well, but she's changed many aspects of her lifestyle and adapted to it.
Point is, s**t happens man, to almost all of us at some point. I've already had 2 near death experiences, which I hardly remember because I was so young. You can't do anything about it, but keep fighting and doing your best to carry on with your life normally.
I know you get a rough time around here sometimes from some members, but you're always welcome here man. Feel free to hit me up on xfire or something if you need to talk sometime.
Best of luck with the diabetes, I know how serious it can be, and I'm glad to hear that you're doing better.
