Interesting to see the Nation's reaction to this deal. Did you know that the Carlyle Group is a MAJOR investor in the UAE company slated for the port take over? Did you also know that GWB dad is a major contributor to that investment firm? No lie, look it up and see for yourself... This get's more interesting by the minute!

Pun, thanks for your imput. I really wanted to get an opinion from someone who is/has been politically active & is (believe it or not) a Bush supporter... I am aware that the mass anti-bush attitude/hysteria often brings us to less then accurate conclusions. I know I should be worried about more important things, but I thought YOU were buying the next case of beer!?! (he he)eXg. I've done quite a bit of research on this, and I have to say, the MORE I learn, the LESS I like this. Some of our younger members may not fully understand the ramifications of this, and hell, I probably couldn't be bothered with it, back in the day, had more important stuff to worry about, (WHO is buying the NEXT case of beer [laugh])....
PuN
Thanks,

not only is his dad a major investor into the carlyle groupe but he himself is an invester along with the bin ladin family. the carlyle group also owns National Defence. u know the company that makes abbrim tanks for the usa. hmmmm......... i think i get it.
UAE gets ports. there stocks go up = $$$ for bush family and bin ladin family. binladin smuggles wmd into country through uae port blows up some buildings = more street cred. bush puts up proposal for money for defence offers the proposal to national defence (owned by carlyle) = $$$ for bush and bin ladin. he then invades a country that did nothing to us while binladin & bush counts their coins.
bye the way anyone know what color threat level weare in right now on the "terrorist most likely to attack USA" chart?
