I used to play Frag, back in the day over direct modem games. Man that was fun. You know what. Here's what they should do. OK, screw all the NEW engine crap, MEANINGLESS eye candy, how about they just give us BACK our sprite based Duke Nukem, and crank up some good netcode, and let us have at it. NO system requirements, hehe, just free us from the dial up modems and let us game.

Well, just because you brought it up, hehe. Little does anyone know, but I just happen to have one, of the very, very few remaining, original Micron P200 PC's. Yeah that's right you nubs, a 200 MHz machine. What you don't know is that is has stable DOS, Win95, DukeNuke3d, and Dual, SLI Voodoo Cards.eXg. dorkiz wrote:I still can't wait for DNF to come out...
I have some D3D demos, pun, if you have a dos computer and want to watch "pro" D3D games.
I don't have all of my really good ones though... They got lost in a HDD crash.
I could show you warps on Hollywood you didn't even know where possible.

I am ready and waiting for some pwnage on this. Trust me when I say this, if I could have haxed the netcode to remove the direct modem code, and replace it with something more robust and stable, hehe, we'd already have a server.
Don't piss me off, or else, I'll start up my Descent 3, and blow the dust of my SpaceOrb 360. You youngins may not know the 411 on the "DeathBlossom".

Hahaha. I think my parents have a Dell with a 400mhz cpu sitting in it that I could steal. And... There is a program for Duke3D called iC. I'm not sure if you were familiar with it at all, but it pretty much kicked the TIC up to 1, and it played even faster than modem if you both had cable connections.
That game really doesn't need much as far as bandwidth. Maybe I'll steal it and kick you around a bit before I leave for Kuwait.
It has to be Duke3d 1.3d and not 1.5 though... I'm not a fan of the 1.5.
