well im at 1280x 960 now u think i should swap to VGA and get the 1440x 900?

lolz i got confused... Im using DVI now and I dont get 1440x900, i only get 1280x900

I assume that must be your native res. Is it maybe a larger monitor?

As I stated before, mines a 19". Is yours maybe a twenty?

also, this is technically 16:10 aspect ratio. Perhaps yours is actual 16:9?

i dont know, it says teh native is 1440x900, but my vid card wont let me select it... hmmm

My 20.1 does 1680x1050

You should be able to get 1440x900 with that monitor and with DVI.

hmm i think its my video card then.
DVi Is hooked up, drivers updated, and i dont get anything even in the 1400 range. I have a 6600GT AGP card
i get
800x600
1024x768
1152x864----I run games at this
1280x960----Im at now----I run games at this
1280x1024
1600x900----My monitor doesnt suport this res or above it
1600x1024
1600x1200
1920x1080
1920x1200
1920x1440
2048x1536

Yeah, I'm kinda missing the dual display setup, but my SLi setup doesn't support it.

I dont see why your card wouldnt support that. But it is possible, expecially with updated drivers. Hmmm. I would post in the support forums of your card manufacture and see what those nerds say.

Mine didn't list 1440x900 until after I installed the ViewSonic software. Did your's come with a cd?

no, but i did download drivers for it, of their website.
