Good thing my motherboard is a heterosexual, no worries though we will get throught this.

When you say monitor I imagine that you are talking about your computer tower itself right? What kind of connector does the 7800 take? Standard 4 pin molex? You should have an extra power adapter off of your psu. The only way to tell would be to take the side cover off of your case and have a lil peek.

Let us know.

Yeah i don't remember saying 'monitor' i coulda swore i said 'motherboard.'

Anyways yeah, i figured it out. There was an open 4-pin molex cable running off my hard drive that I could use, and from there to the card itself, all I need to do is get a 400W power supply, since mine is only a whopping 305W.

Fixing that later today. :D

Geh. It was coming out of the power supply (now 500W) and into the hard drive, cd/dvd, and floppy, then to routed to the video card. A big loop accross the motherboard.

But the card works now!! Super happy. High Quality on doom3 and quake4, everything turned on (except AA) and getting 70fps!!!! I've never gotten above 30 on the LOWest settings any game.

And whaddya know, I won 3 games in an emz server

Turns out hardware duz count.
