Which Vista

Post by eXg. sabooya »

I don't really plan on upgrading for a while, but I was woundering what would be the better buy. Also what is really the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit? I know crysis supports 64 bit, but does that mean i need a 64 bit windows to play it. My man issue is I don't really know what 64 bit is or what it has to offer me. I do know i need a 64 bit CPU and drivers and etc, im not a noob :P
Just would like some info thanks!

A comparison between versions can be found here.

My dad can get me a copy of the 64-bit business because he's in some thing and whatever. It has something to do with the company he works for. I don't know if I want to try it though... doesn't really seem to be worth it at the moment. In a year or 2, when we have some truly dx10 games, I might try it.

From what I've been reading, just go one step up from the bottom, not sure if that's the biz version or not, but basically everything tells me the Premium version is a rip off, rape, etc.

Everyone with hardware older than ONE YEAR, you may want to hold off a month or two, just to play it safe. Driver issues are already being worked on now. New equipment takes priority, as most Vista's will be sold on NEWly equipped rigs. Older equipment, will take a back seat untill they fix the newer drivers first.
