i recently got the core 2 duo E6400 @ 2,13Ghz better proc lower rate than you i cant have that :p

You really shouldn't Overclock unless you know what your doing. If you wanted to though look in your bios for core speed or fsb and bump it up 10 fsb. save exit if you boot increase it another 10. repeat until it doesn't boot. take out cmos battery or if ur mobo is pwnage liek mine it will auto reset to default do to failed OC. Now set it to 10 down from the speed it wouldn't boot at thats what i normally call my safe speed, cause it runs without having you up voltage. Now run 3d mark 06. If you complete it without crashing your decently stable and can probably get by at that speed. If you crash lower fsb 10 more and repeat until ur stable.

Im not an OC professional but i know the basics. Oc takes alot of time i spent 6 hours tweaking on my rig.

Controle there are thousands of "self help guides" but what I'd recommend, is to go to your favorite News Stand, and just pick up the only magazine that matters,
