DPI is dots per inch. Generally more = higher sensitivity. More isn't always better, though.

Can you sort out your sig please General Icon.

It was bad enough with the 2 images taking up a Full screen. With 3 it's tasking the piss.

Remove atleast 1 maybe 2
People should only be allowed 1 big sig image.

Keyboards don't have much effect on how you play, whatever style is comfortable IMO.

<---agrees w miketmnt.

BTW, I chose my keyboard because it has very shallow action in the key's, almost, but not quite, as immediate in response as a laptop's keyboard.

Also, it took a while before it grew on me, but I personally use the Laser 6000 microsoft gaming mouse. I disliked it for awhile, but now I wouldn't want any other mouse. It's got five buttons if you include the scroll wheel, which I have binded to rocket launcher. left side button is chaingun or lightning gun, right side button is shotgun. Of course, right click is fire and left click is crouch. Makes the slides pretty easy in Q4 and makes ducking while strafing easy as pie in Doom.
and the laser 6000 actually operates at 1000 dpi, which is plenty, 'cause I use 2.25 sensitivity in Q4, and 3.15 in D3.
Make sure to get the wired version. Real gamers use wires, until a few more advances in the technology, it's the only way to go.

hope this helps. :)

Actually I noticed a higher repeat rate on my saitek eclipse. And the windows setting was the same.

Yeah, it's just not the same without my umbilical cord.
