3.5mm Headphone Jack Fail

Ugh. I've got a gaming chair for my 360. It's got an 3.5mm input jack, 3.5 output jack [to speakers] and a 3.5mm jack for headphones and a power cable. I'll supply pics as soon as I take them.

Over time, I've been using one of these.


But after use, rolling out of the chair or something, it bends. Now the input jack only works for the left side. I have a new cable, which is a Y cable so it won't happen again [hopefully] but I need to fix this.

Dont touch it dude. Take it back and get a new one. It's not worth the trouble plus it will avoid the warrenty on it.

Can't, it was only I think a 6 month warranty. It was either 3 or 6, and it's been 13 so I can't. Really it's trash or fix and I really really don't want to trash it.

Edit:

If you take a look at the last picture, when you put a jack in, that flap on the left side bends out to accomadate. There is no flap on the right side, is there supposed to be one? or is it a different type of connection? Would it be easier to solder suck it off and try to find a new one? I build robots [F.R.C. for the record] so I'm quite capable of soldering a new connector on, all I need is to know what's wrong and if you can, a name for that tan piece [sorry if my color's are off, I'm colorblind]

first try and bend the pins back into shape if that doesn't work. Try and get a replacement to solder on. if that doesn't work you need a new one

Okay, yes. I've realized this. What pins? I don't know what one would normally look like so I don't know what to bend, it's not the same equivalent on the other side.

Solder a new one, well where am I going to get a new one? I can't seem to find it anywhere, I don't know what an official name to be to purchase a new one.
