Chances are you will need a new motherboard. Unless you can straighten the pins. Some motherboards have a power connector that snaps into the motherboard but most do not. The alternative would be to take it apart and resolder it with a new connector.

call your manufacture. they will tell you if your laptop is still under warranty. If not, they can suggest some places where to go to get it fixed....

Yeap, same thoughts. In fact i had the same problem with my Compaq 1.5 years ago, and it still was in it's warranty, but i hated sending it back for repairs includding my hdd (yeah, by that time compaq repaired them only if the unit was send including all parts, including hdd for them to read your stuff lol). Lucky me, i work for an electronics company where i could repair it in just under 2 hours.
I don't know how it is today tho, my sister broke her digital camera in some similar way. In the back panel, her power button has gone inside the unit (the print board holding the digital buttons was being hold tight by a plastic needle, hor however you call it, similar to the ones that hold your standard cooler to the vid card--which went lose) and it was rejected for repairs, usually this being seen as the unit suffered from aggressive handeling. Don't know what to say, same thoughts as the previous posts.
Good luck!
