Columbus Half Marathon 4 man relay race: So... We had a very, very impressive team. The people that were running just the half marathon started 15 minutes before the relay racers. Well... 4 teams started with them, so they got a 15 minute head start. My first guy passed two of them on his way to tag me at CP 2. By the time we finished, we had even passed up the two teams that had a 15 minute head start on us, and we still beat second place by damn near 20 minutes. 4 people ran half marathon in 1 hour 20 min.

Yea... Cept now I have a problem with shin splints in my left leg, and it's not healing as fast as I'd like it, so my doc says I should stop running for a few weeks (Grrr aslfjlasjdflj!!!!), and then it'll get better, not worse.

Bleh. I'll see how it's feeling tomorrow.

Freaky Friday Halloween Race - 3rd Overall with a time of 18:49. Slooooow time, but it was 3rd overall, so yea.

21DEC08 - San Antonio Rock & Roll Half Marathon (13.1 miles): 7th overall, 3rd in 29 & Under group with a time of 1:35:56.

Almost forgot to post! 2009 is a record setting year for me.

01Jan09 - New record for 5k and 2 mile, first time to get 1st overall, and first time to break 18:00!

Ran it in 17:52, came in 1st place, and did the first two miles in 11:54. I know I can do a faster 2 mile than that, but I haven't yet and noticed, so yea.
