Haha not enought intrest? I think people are just scurrrd. They would be able to stay in their "comfort zone" if they did somthing that could possibly hurt their pride or have their losses reviewed......

Not enough interest? Man I'm intersted, AND I just read this. If time is of the essence then don't post, but give a thread some time to grow! So what is this about? A Doom 3 tourney? I got some ideas... but then again I'm sure alot of us do. Besides it's not so hard to set up a tourney or practice, but it is hard to get people to show. Hehe... You know what I mean.

BTW, is not liking something is not the same as leaving your comfort zone is it?

I just read this..... I've been busy, mom's all messed up and what not. sheesh. I agree w/ bob, give it some time. Give us a date, and How many players *i'm guessing 8 becuase that's all any server will realy hold....

I prolly wouldn't win, but that doesn't mean that I sure as hell wouldn't participate. Give us .....hrm, 3 weeks advance notice, and a signup sheet, and if so, I WANT ON IT!!!!!! if yer gonna close it so fast, i ahve to sign up early

I think it's a great idea.

I think this would be a good idea, but it would have to be advertised more. I hardly ever check the D3 forums. Maybe it should be posted in general forums, or on the homepage? Id be interested

I'd play in a doom3 tourney for fun if one happened...

just curious to see how people are, especially those that keep playing the game even though theres no more competitive events...

not to mention, I miss the game

havent played since quakecon. and don't think i'd practice, but I'd sign up

NTS I think it's a good idea, and I agree with bodies, would be a blast. ATM the damned Q4/XB server nightmare, lol, gives me pause, and reflection on the joy of the trouble free, for the most part, D3 server admin.

NTS, let me know if you want this deleted, reposted, or whatever you want, maybe even a poll.

why not a BF2 tourney and a quake 4 tourney?
I say we have a Tourney Day. We set a date and on that day we have different game tourneys at different times. It be nuts! wake up at 9 pwn in doom, 12 eat a sandwich and conqure in BF2 then l8er at 4 Own in quake 4.
I think it be a great idea. And we could have everyone all day on Vent. It be a crazy party!
